Ozone Therapy
Cancer is also called as malignancy. It is an abnormal growth of white blood cells. It may stay in one place or may move to other parts of the body. There are various types of cancer like skin cancer, blood cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, and many more. There almost 100 types of cancer. Some symptoms of cancer may include a lump, weight loss, prolonged cough, etc. But these symptoms may vary from person to person and the type of cancer.
Researchers are always trying to find the best treatment for cancer. Some traditional treatments of cancer may include surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. There are also some alternative treatments for cancer which may include Gerson therapy, IPT (Insulin Potentiation Therapy), Ukrain, Bio-magnetic therapy, Iscador, and ozone therapy, etc. traditional and alternative treatments both are very useful in the treatment of cancer.
Ozone therapy is the process or technique used for the treatment of various diseases like osteoarthritis, herniated disk, chronic wounds, hepatitis B and C, herpes zoster, HIV-AIDS, multiple sclerosis, cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s dementia, and Lyme disease. It is the method in which ozone (O3) is introduced into the body through various techniques.
Ozone therapy is an alternative treatment method for cancer. In this technique, the ozone or ozonides are introduced into the body. The ozone is injected into the body by converting it in the form of gas through the vagina, rectum, and intramuscular routes. Ozone can also be introduced in the body through autohemotherapy (a technique in which blood is drawn from the patient, exposed to ozone, and re-injected into the patient).
Ozone therapy is considered as one of the most effective treatments for cancer. It is an easy and effective treatment method. Ozone therapy is painless. It is beneficial as it may reduce the blood clotting at a certain point, decrease the uric acid level in the body, and remove viruses’ bacteria and any fungal activities. Some other advantages of ozone therapy are: it enhances the white blood activity, detoxifies the liver, the blood oxygen level may be improved by using this treatment method.
As everything has some positive and negative aspects similarly ozone therapy also has some disadvantages as it is a poisonous gas. The US stated 5 deaths because of the use of ozone therapy in cancer treatment. It may result in air embolism, bloodborne infections, and bilateral visual field loss. It may affect the lungs and can cause severe pulmonary diseases. In some peoples even its small amount can cause severe diseases like it may irritate the lungs and throat, resulting in coughing, shortness of breath, and damage to lung tissues. It can also cause vomiting, nausea, severe headaches. Some of these side effects are temporary but some can be prolonged and remain for a long time period.
Ozone therapy is an effective treatment method but it has dangerous side effects so the researchers suggested avoiding and not using this alternative treatment method. No doubt that ozone therapy has some advantages but it has more disadvantages so it is not considered an effective alternative treatment method for cancer.
